§ Process

Four steps from order to delivery

No account, no quote form. You order online, send your files by email, and receive a signed translation.

On this page

  1. Order and pay.

    Add your document or service to the cart. Choose the direction and any options. Enter your details and pay online. You see the total, with VAT, before you pay. You get an order reference that starts with TUT- and holds the date.

  2. Send your documents.

    Email scans or photos to support@theurbantranslators.com with your order reference in the subject. Send every page, both sides, in focus, with the corners visible. A button on the confirmation page opens the email for you.

  3. We translate and confirm.

    We translate your documents. On per-word work we check the word count. If it differs by more than 10% from what you declared, we send you the new price before we start. If something is unclear in the source, we ask you.

  4. Receive your translation.

    We email a signed PDF. If you ordered post, the paper copy follows by tracked mail. Documents take 2 working days from the moment we have all your pages. Text takes about 2,000 words per working day. Express takes 24 hours.

PDF and tracked post. The PDF, plus a paper copy posted with tracking. France {fr}, international {intl}. Extra certified paper copies are €8 each.

What we commit to

  • The total is shown before you pay.
  • One page is 250 words, and we say so.
  • On per-word work, we confirm the price before starting if the word count differs by more than 10%.
  • We fix any error or omission of ours for 30 days, free.
  • If an authority rejects our work because of our error, we correct it or refund the item.
  • We delete your files on request.

What happens to your files

  • We use them to translate your order, and for nothing else.
  • Only the people working on your order see them.
  • We delete them on request.
  • If your documents are sensitive, protect the file with a password and tell us the password by phone.
